Farrah Fawcett Bathing Suit

The red hot Farrah Fawcett bathing suit that featured the best-selling poster of 1976 has been donated by Ryan O'Neal to the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History in Washington, D.C.

This bathing suit actually came out of Farrah's own closet, and was her piece of choice to hide a scar she had on her stomach.

For all you what this has to do with American History, well, if you only want to write doen 200 years of history, even a famous swimsuit will make headlines.

Ryan, who was Farrah's life long friend, donated some of her belongings in honor of what would have been Farrah's 64th birthday. She died 2 years ago on June 25 with anal cancer.
