Alzheimer's Memory Walk

Unknown Monday, July 21, 2008

Anyone who has had a loved one with Alzheimer’s will know the struggles and pain that affect the one afflicted and their caretakers.

I have seen relatives who cracked under the strain of having to provide care 24/7 to the loved one who was suffering from Alzheimer’s, and it was a long struggle for them to come to terms with the disease.

We must continue to raise awareness of this crippling and often devastating disease and at the same time provide support for bodies like Alzheimer’s Association in our quest to find a cure for it.

Funds would be needed to fight against this disease and the Alzheimer's Memory Walk is organized for this purpose.

This walk will involve more than 600 communities and it is the nation’s largest event.

So do come along and bring your friends and family members to this event to provide support and funding in our fight against Alzheimer’s!
