Cheap flights to Bangkok

Today is the last day to book cheap flights to Bangkok from Kuala Lumpur for less than $20 dollar.

Air Asia is having a promotion offering 10.000 cheap flights to Thailand, calling it free flights to Bangkok. Of course in typical Air Asia style, free means that you still have to pay for tax, fees and the irritating "convenience fee" when you pay by credit or debit card. I mean, who books his tickets online, pays the ticket with his credit card and needs to pay a penalty for that? Welcome to Air Asia :-)

Do hurry: you need to book your cheap flight before the first of June, which is tomorrow. you have to depart to Bangkok between the 7th of June and the 31st of August this year. And of course, you need to book your own return flight.

However, this is a very cheap and convenient way of flying out of Malaysia, into Thailand and booking cheap flights to other South East Asian departing from Bangkok. Apart from bathing suits, do bring lots of sunscreen - more important than packing shampoo! - as the sun just feels hotter and hotter these days.

Rima Fakih in Bikini

Apart from a dazzling sexy lingerie photo shoot, Rima Fakih in bikini looks equally stunning:

Rima Fakih Naked according to Muslim standards...

So who is the new Miss USA and is she really a Muslim stripper as the media is wanting you to believe?

Of course Rima Fakih is not a stripper, although she did win a pole dancing contest in 2007 better known as the Mojo In The Morning’s Stripper 101 contest.

Rima Fakih winning a stripper pole

The judges where the only strippers in a female-only audience. Rima did not only win the first prize, but was also awarded jewellery, gift cards, a stripper pole and some adult toys.

The former Miss Michigan, residing in the large Arab-American community of Dearborn is from Lebanese Muslim descent. Only a person like Donald Trump would be pushing the boundaries and depict a Muslim woman in a hot and sexy lingerie shoot.

I can assume lots of people will have many things to say about this, yet in a world that is growing more and more global every minute, she is the first Miss USA who is a Muslim and shows off her stunning body in a bikini, without making it a cultural nor a religious issue.

The next time you will be able to admire Rima Fakih in a bikini will be when she represents the USA in the 2010 Miss Universe pageant, which will be hold in the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas on August 23.

Miss Lebanon bikini

Although the controversial bathing suit and lingerie pictures of Rima Fakih in a bikini is hitting the Internet like a storm, as if something is new and daring...

What is new is the misconception that all people in all Muslim countries behave the same. That would be similar like saying that all American girls behave the same, making no differentiation in latinas, afro-american girls, native american girls, italian-american girls...

Above Miss Lebanon in a bikini posing during miss Universe 2005 and below another Miss Lebanon in a bikini taken last year 2009:

So no need to be alarmed by the way Rima Fakih is showing off bathing suits being a Muslim woman. If you are alarmed, that means you now know a little bit more about the many different ways Muslim women wear clothes and look at fashion.
